Life is always more interesting when viewed through a wrapping-paper tube.

The ice-cream man was in our neighborhood this weekend.  Laura didn't want to buy.  Sometimes I just don't understand that woman.

Laura finally made me give back her elegant book mark (gifted to her by her fabulous sister-in-law, Sarah).  It was probably for the best.  It was far too girly for a masculine man like me.  To compensate for my loss, I made this near-identical replica tweaked to be slightly more manly.

I thought I looked so sexy in my hold-the-camera-at-arms-length picture I made Laura do one. Without a doubt, she beats me.

Wheeler Farm has wisely taken the precaution of putting a chain-link fence to protect its patrons from the vicious ducks.  

Have you noticed all the pictures of Asher have been extreme close-ups so far?  I typically have to hold Asher while I take the picture, and this is as far back as I can get.

Talmage has once again failed to live up to my already-low expectations for him.

Talmage threw a tantrum in our driveway yesterday.  Just to make sure we were all commiserating with him, Talmage stole a peek inside the house.  I think the fact that his father was sitting on the couch with a smile and a camera waiting for him only annoyed Talmage.

Chubby Kid:  Today we learned Asher is in the 90th percentile in weight but only the 50th percentile in height.  That's my boy!

This shot took many calculated attempts.  Talmage and his cousin, Stockton, were thrilled I took such an interest in playing with them and their toys.  However, I think their excitement turned to annoyance as I made them stand back for my repeated hit-and-miss trials.  

What pleases me the most about this picture are the marbles.  This marble-maze set actually has only 12 marbles.  This picture is a composite of more than 10 pictures.  In this picture, you can find the same marble repeated many times as it rolled down the track.

To more efficiently protect an Easter eggs from a three year old, Laura wrapped this one in yarn.  Talmage broke it just the same.
