This is the kind of dad I am. My son comes to me with this face, and all I can think to do is take a picture of it. I imagine the full effects of this type of parenting will come out years from now when Talmage is in therapy.

He started his life with that lower lip curled out, and he has never stopped.

One of Talmage's favorite pastimes is painting--any kind of painting. It's also the reason I have a multi-colored kitchen table.

This sassy expression was the best lovin' I got this Valentine's. Years from now, when Asher is being disrespectful, I can say, "Do you know what I went through to bring you into this world, son?" and have some teeth behind it.

Talmage has slipped into the role of the big brother very easily. He's very curious about Asher. Unfortunately, he's a little rough with his baby brother. He pushes on his forehead and pulls on his eyelids. His parents squeal each time.

Asher has already startled us by how wide-eyed he can get at times. While Talmage slept through his first-week photo shoot, Asher was very alert.
