The Grand America and the moon--these are a few of my favorite things.

December 28, 2009

Contrary to popular belief, the Grand America did not have ginger-bread houses on display this weekend.

Asher the shepherd

December 22, 2009

Every child should look so happy at this time of the year.

December 21, 2009

Worth pulling out again.

December 20, 2009

I used plenty of caffeine to get me through finals, and I decided I really don't like colas.

December 17, 2009

What more could a father want?

December 16, 2009

This is a hard sight to see when you're leaving the house before the rest of the family is even awake. It was one cold week!

December 13, 2009

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

December 12, 2009

Some pictures don't jump out to you as much until a few years after you've taken them. I just stumbled across this one in my archives. I like it a lot.

December 8, 2009

These discs contain every picture I've ever taken, and I just threw them all away. Now I have four external hard drives. I'm sure I'll throw those away in a few years and transfer all the data to my keychain. Ooooh, I love technology . . . but not, as much as you, you see.

My nieces

November 29, 2009

Ah . . . Thanksgiving

November 24, 2009

All kids look cuter in black and white.

November 23, 2009

After nearly 8 days of confinement, Talmage may be starting to lose it.

November 21, 2009

How do you get your owner's attention?

November 20, 2009

Laura thinks I let Talmage eat too much sugar. I disagree.

November 17, 2009

This is Talmage . . . on the swine flu. Any questions?

November 16, 2009

I think Laura is trying to initiate a "Who Wore It Better?" segment in our family. I think the lion outfit is a toss up between Talmage and Asher. But, just wait until I wear the outfit next year.

November 15, 2009

Sure, the ball is no where in sight, but he certainly looks good.

November 11, 2009

A pitcher

November 9, 2009

Davis--Scary!

November 7, 2009

His head is too small, but he looks pretty cute.

November 6, 2009

The complicated being-in-the-team-huddle-with-players-wearing-the-same-color-jersey-as-you concept still kind of eludes Talmage.

November 5, 2009

Talmage has a very difficult time keeping his shirt on during a game.

November 4, 2009

Asher

November 3, 2009

I'm a lucky man!

November 1, 2009

This picture came a fraction of a second after Talmage knocked over the tower of pumpkins he was posing on.

October 31, 2009

Laura has finally embraced my philosophy that she gut and carve the pumpkins each year.

October 30, 2009

My pregnant sister-in-law

October 28, 2009

Stockton--among my most handsome of nephews.

October 26, 2009

One day after I took this picture, every one of these leaves was on my lawn.

October 24, 2009

Itty bitty.

October 21, 2009

Asher's thigh is bigger than either of these two girls.

October 20, 2009

Light Bright . . . The 80s are never as far away as you think.

October 19, 2009

I can't even imagine the board meeting where it was decided these spinning rides were a good idea.

October 18, 2009

Nothing beats Bear Lake in October!

October 17, 2009

October 14, 2009

Bear Lake in October

October 13, 2009

There's something about placing all the subjects equidistant from each other that really makes a photograph.

October 11, 2009

The way I see it, it's never too early to start working on the cover of your future boy band's first album.

October 9, 2009

Handsome

October 6, 2009

Sure--she thinks it's funny to steal my son's innocence!

October 5, 2009

That girl up the street is a fast mover!

October 1, 2009

Kudos to Colter for another fabulous family portrait.

September 29, 2009

What? You'd look this grumpy too if your mom dressed you the way his mom dresses him.

September 28, 2009

Spiderman turns four.

September 27, 2009

Pure happiness

September 26, 2009

This is Talmage's reaction each time he touches the ball. Unfortunately, he fails to remember that he needs to continue kicking the ball for it to do any good.

September 24, 2009

Keep your eye on the ball. Talmage's first-ever soccer game demonstrated to me that four-year olds do not entirely understand the objective in soccer. My question is, what exactly are these kids pursuing with such enthusiasm? It appears to be Talmage's #9 jersey.
